| The Rate Depends On The Country |

In Australia, we are charged around A$150 for every gigabyte of traffic coming INTO our server. If your site starts to do a lot of INBOUND traffic, receiving hundreds of large email messages per day, or massive FTP uploading, we reserve the right to move your site to an American server where we can afford to have you.
The rates for American data transfer are much lower. FTP speeds on American servers from Australia are slower, but the difference in access time for your website is pretty insignificant in most cases. |
| Silver Accounts |
| These accounts may be on one of our Australian servers. You can also opt to have your site hosted on an American server, if you prefer. The data transfer limit is 1GB/month (both in and out). This is enough for most sites having around 100-200 visitors a day. Of course, if you have a lot of downloads happening from your site, you would use more. Additional gigabytes of any kind of data transfer are charged at $30/GB/month. |

| If you require that your site be hosted on the Australian server, you are allowed up to 1.5GB data transfer per month. For each outgoing MB above that you will be charged 3 cents, for each incoming MB, 17 cents. This can add up to a lot if you do high data transfer, but it only really covers our costs. A better solution in many cases is to have your site on an American server. If your site is hosted on an American server, we allow up to 5GB traffic per month (additional Gigabytes are A$20 per total number of GB used. Let us know which option you prefer. 5GB of traffic per month means a lot of people can visit your site without you paying anything extra. 5GB is roughly equal to one million pages of text being downloaded every month, or maybe 200-300 thousand average size web pages per month including some graphics. |
